"Globally bound" is an allusion to the concept of global binding in philosophy of mind, one of the most profound facts about the nature of reality. If you're not intrigued and confused by the phenomenal binding problem, just give it some time.

I'm also motivated to help eradicate extreme suffering globally and believe that doing something about it (if we can) is a core aspect of living ethically. We can do better.
